This is a seasonal, part-time position, (July 10 – October 27), ~5 hours per week (Sundays 11am- 4pm). Farmers Market Contractors will support The Food Group in their Produce Rescue programs by co-leading produce rescue efforts at the Minneapolis Farmers market each Sunday from July-October alongside the Food Rescue Contractor. This is a seasonal, part-time position, (July 10 – Nov 1), ~10-15 hours per week at various locations. The Food Rescue Contractor is a new position created to assist with both Minneapolis Farmers Market produce rescue, as well as on-farm gleaning produce rescue. This position will work closely with the Produce Programs Coordinator and Produce Programs Assistant to increase our team’s ability to rescue and glean fresh local produce for distribution to regional food shelves. The Volunteer Receptionist will perform a variety of tasks depending on project deadlines in The Food Group office. This will include answering the phone and door and other administrative tasks as assigned by the Office Manager. This position helps to extend the resources in The Food Group to better assist the needs of our clients. Click here to learn more and apply.
