Under the leadership of the Executive Director, the HR and DEI Manager plays an integral part in advocating for employees by ensuring that HR and equity policies and procedures are in place to protect both the employees and the organization. He/she will support the overall impact of the organization regarding Human Resources related responsibilities and equity initiatives. Under HR related responsibilities, the HR and DEI Manager will oversee day to day HR duties including recruiting, benefit enrollment, employee relations, training and development, and policy interpretation. Under DEI initiatives, the HR and DEI Manager will work closely with the Leadership Team and the IDEA Council to ensure ideas, planning, and policies are implemented within the organization with fidelity and integrity. This position is responsible for the overall success of the Agency Relations team which includes supporting our food shelf and meal programs partners, bulk purchasing, and gleaning and farmers market food rescue efforts. This person will lead a staff team by providing strategic direction, ongoing coaching and mentoring to develop employees, and ensure that equity is embedded in program and service delivery. The Warehouse Technician will work under supervision of the Warehouse Manager to ensure day to day warehouse operations and responsibilities are carried out and fulfilled. They will be responsible for order selection, inventory movement and tracking, warehouse organization, operational support of volunteer groups and all shipping/receiving activities. This role will also be accountable for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse. This position’s shift will operate between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm Monday through Friday, dependent on the day’s activities, with some flexibility. The Volunteer Receptionist will perform a variety of tasks depending on project deadlines in The Food Group office. This will include answering the phone and door and other administrative tasks as assigned by the Office Manager.
