Agency Program Driver
Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, the Agency Program Driver is responsible for supporting the Agency program by delivering food in an accurate and timely manner and providing exceptional customer service to food shelves and meal programs within The Food Group’s network. The Program Driver will routinely pick up food donations from local businesses and food drive coordinators. This position will be based at our New Hope location and will drive routes throughout the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area.
Communications Manager
This position’s role is to increase support, recognition, participation, and brand awareness for The Food Group through storytelling, impact sharing, and strategic communications. This position creates content for all segments across the organization and works closely with the Marketing & Creative Manager. This position shares leadership for the successful planning and implementation of a comprehensive marketing and communications effort to grow and sustain support for food for today and change for tomorrow.
Director Of Operations
The Director of Operations will lead all aspects of The Food Group’s Operations including warehouse operations, inventory control, human and food safety programs, facilities management, security, fleet management and transportation, and IT. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of these areas, leading and inspiring a team of 17 people, and ensuring effective and efficient operations. This role also manages organizational-wide process mapping and will facilitate cross-functional process improvement work to enhance The Food Group’s ability to deliver on its mission. The Director of Operations plays a key role on The Food Group leadership team and will be relied upon for providing thought leadership for the short- and long-term strategic direction of the organization; including organizational design and resource planning, capital and expense budgeting, and a technology and data roadmap.
Agency Relations Specialist
The Agency Relations Specialist will serve as the primary contact for Partners (e.g., food shelf, meal program, and community food distribution partners). This position will help coordinate and support the programming to ensure that all TEFAP-eligible (The Emergency Food Assistance Program, a federal program of the USDA) comply with federal regulations and provide client-centered, culturally appropriate, and dignified services for people to access food.
