Jacob and his wife, Joylyn, are immigrant farmers from India who started farming at Big River Farms in 2017. He is now part of the farm incubator program. The couple approach farming in a sustainable and environmentally-friendly manner that prioritizes the use of natural inputs and processes, such as crop rotation, composting, and biological pest management in order to promote soil health, biodiversity, and food safety.
Jacob Daniel Farms produce can be purchased through their CSA program, at Seward Co-op, and through an online marketplace that delivers direct to your home.
